Cinesite is one of the world’s most highly respected independent digital entertainment studios, producing award-winning animation and visual effects for film, broadcast and streaming media platforms. The company recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Ealing Studios is an independent British Studio, developing, financing and producing feature films for international distribution.

Ealing Studios’ extensive facilities provide stages and services for independent and major international production in a convenient central London location; the Studio community incorporates a wide variety of companies providing services to the film, television and media business.

Home to the birth of British cinema, Ealing Studios has been at the forefront of media revolution since 1902. Founded in 2015 by government and employers following the Next Gen Report by Ian Livingston and Alex Hope, NextGen Skills Academy (NextGen) is an industry-led education initiative to develop the next generation of talent for the Games, Animation and VFX industries.

NextGen brings industry and education together to develop a networked pipeline with aim of training, upskilling, and supporting people into employment or on to the next stage of their career journey. They do this via the development of formal qualifications, Apprenticeship Standards, short courses, bootcamps, and other training opportunities that are designed to meet the skills needs of employers.

NextGen’s flagship qualification, the NextGen AIM Level 3 Extended Diploma in Games, Animation and VFX Skills, was developed and is updated in collaboration with industry for students 16+. It is currently delivered by 14 Further Education Centres in England. These centres are approved by employers and, along with the industry written curriculum, students receive professional masterclasses, live streams, project feedback, work experience, and more quality industry engagement opportunities.

NextGen is led by an Employer Steering Group of studios from across Games, Animation and VFX, including Framestore, Creative Assembly, Blue Zoo, Media Molecule, Sumo Digital, Flipbook, ILM, Playground Games, Centroid, Payload, Sony Interactive Entertainment, DNEG, Ubisoft, and Game Dev Bootcamps.

Scanline VFX is a global visual effects studio with locations in Munich, Stuttgart, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, Seoul and London. The company is led by President and Senior Visual Effects Supervisor Stephan Trojansky.

Scanline is noted for its creation of natural phenomena such as fire, smoke and water on disaster epics such as San Andreas and Independence Day: Resurgence. Recent projects include Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Free Guy for director Shawn Levy. Its work as lead vendor on Godzilla vs. Kong highlights Scanline’s increasing expansion into character and creature work.

Founded in 1989 in Munich, Scanline established itself as an industry leader with the development of its proprietary fluid effects software, Flowline. Scanline was the sole developer of Flowline and in 2008, was the recipient of a Scientific and Technical Achievement Academy Award® for the software.

Scanline was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Achievement in Visual Effects in 2010 for its work on Clint Eastwood’s Hereafter, for which it was the sole visual effects vendor. The film’s signature sequence was a recreation of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which TIME Magazine called “the most exciting, expertly assembled flood scene in movie history.” In 2013, Scanline received a BAFTA nomination for its work on Iron Man 3 and in 2015, a second Academy Award® nomination for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Warner Bros. De Lane Lea is an award-winning picture and sound post production facility in the heart of Soho combining the most advanced technology with skilled talent to provide an exceptional post production experience.

Based in a brand-new, purpose-built facility in the stunning new Ilona Rose House development in Soho, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea is home to the largest mixing stage in the UK and facilities include sound missing stages, grading theatres, a full mastering department, ADR facilities and cutting rooms.

Warner Bros. De Lane Lea also has additional facilities based at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden including a 48 seat 4K Screening Room, 4K VFX Review Theatre and a Dailies department with dark-fibre connectivity to Soho.

With more than 70 years’ experience in the post production business, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea has worked with many of the world’s greatest talents on some of the most memorable productions including the Mission Impossible franchise, Wonder Woman, Gravity and the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series.
